Bottled at 44.1% this example comes from the Clan Denny series. With the Dumbarton Distillery now closed and due for demolition, this could be one to add to the collection. Not much of it has ever been bottled as a Single Grain. Jim Murray is quite poetic in his description in his 2008 Whisky Bible, noting that it is "...mouth-watering and fresh to start, the soft delivery is fruit accented and a near perfect sweetness". A free download of the chapter on Dumbarton/Inverleven Distillery is available when buying this whisky.
