Philip Morrice is the author of "The Schweppes Guide to Scotch" , "The Harrods Book of Whisky" , "La Guida allo Scotch Whisky" (in Italian) , "O Grande Livro Teacher's de Whisky" (in Portuguese) and numerous articles on whisky in newspapers and magazines around the world. He has broadcast on the subject for the BBC and was a guest speaker at the inaugural Speyside Whisky Festival and at the First Australian Whisky Convention. He has also been a Glenfiddich Whisky Writer of the Year. However, his greatest achievement in terms of his whisky authorship was the appearance in 1987 of "The Whisky Distilleries of Scotland and Ireland" to mark the centenary of Alfred Barnard's celebrated work "The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom", published in 1887.
